AMINA - Implementation of the local transport plan with PTV Lines (GER)
Numerous connection deficits were identified in the current local transport plan for the Bavarian Lower Main region, and corresponding review tasks were formulated. The first step in implementation is the systematic prioritisation of tasks – both in terms of costs and user potential.
The AMINA team carried out the necessary analyses using PTV Lines. This resulted in a well-founded ranking, which now serves as the basis for processing weak point review tasks.
The combination of PTV Lines, PTV Visum and the regional transport model REMOSI enables a fast, transparent and data-based evaluation of planned measures – from diversions and new routes to timetable adjustments.
In the webinar, Dr Georg Pfleiderer and Oskar Rauls from AMINA report on how they use digital tools to make well-founded decisions, set priorities and thus make public transport in the region more efficient and future-proof step by step. The example impressively shows how data-driven planning creates transparency and provides practical solutions to everyday challenges in public transport.
